§ Mr. Langford-Holt
asked the Secretary of State for War what steps he proposes to take to remedy the hardship caused by the disbandment of Army Emergency Reserve annual training camp one week early on 30th April to those men who were granted by their employers two weeks' leave, without pay, thus having received no pay from any source for one week.
§ Mr. Head
We will consider any claim where a member of the Army Emergency176W Reserve has been deprived of both military and civil pay for the week as a result of his premature return from camp. If my hon. Friend has a particular case in mind and will let me have details, I will look into it. Any bounties due will not be affected by the shortened camp.
