§ Mr. WatkinsonThere is at present a shortage of labour in the motor industry which is reflected in a substantial number of vacancies not yet filled by the employment exchanges. In view of the unsatisfied demand, there is no reason to anticipate serious difficulty in finding alternative employment for any workers in the industry should they become redundant.
