§ Mr. GammansThere were 7,535 licensed radio amateurs in the United Kingdom on 22nd February. Amateur licences permit the use of a station only for the purpose of sending to, and receiving from, other amateur stations messages of a personal nature. The broadcasting of messages to amateur stations in general is prohibited.
