§ Mr. BevinsA programme of research into the genetic effects of radioactivity is in progress under the auspices of the Medical Research Council, and plans are being made to expand and accelerate it. There is frequent consultation with workers engaged in cognate studies in the United States; and the researches in this country are planned to avoid overlap with the American investigations.
