§ Mr. Doddsasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air if he will make a statement giving details of the performance of the Bristol Sycamore helicopter in Kenya.
Mr. WardYes. The Bristol Sycamore helicopter in Kenya has carried out eleven missions to evacuate casualties, of which two were inside the forest area. Tests have been made to find out the 65W maximum height from which casualties can be lifted and one trial has been completed successfully at a height of ten thousand feet.
