§ 56. Mr. de Freitasasked the Secretary of State for War what has been done to explain to all ranks the purpose and effect of the reorganisation of units to meet the new requirements of Home Defence and Civil Defence.
§ Mr. HeadThe need for these changes was fully explained to commanding officers of units, who will have passed on the information in the usual way. A good deal of publicity was given to this subject at the time of the Defence Estimates, and articles have appeared in Service magazines.
