§ Mr. Patrick Maitlandasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether he will arrange for better sign-posting of roads in and through the new town of East Kilbride.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterThe signposting of these roads is the responsibility of the Lanarkshire County Council. There is bound to be difficulty over these signs until the road system for the new town has been completed and opened to traffic in, I am informed, about eighteen months' time. I understand, however, that signs are being erected and adjusted as development takes place.
