§ Mr. HopkinsonNo. I have seen a report to this effect about Y.M.C.A. hostel servants, but it is not correct. Some of the Kikuyu concerned have been found to be members of a Mau Mau committee and detained; the rest, all self-confessed members of Mau Mau, have been released on bond while the possibility of prosecution is being considered.
