§ 14. Rev. LI. Williamsasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will give an estimate in terms of money of the damage caused by marauding sheep; and what proposals he has for further legislation to deal with this problem.
Mr. AmoryI regret that a reliable estimate cannot be given. The existing law provides remedies for damage done to land and crops by straying sheep and I do not consider that a case for further legislation has been established.
