HC Deb 09 February 1955 vol 536 c224W
103. Mr. Osborne

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General what steps he is taking to improve the quality of wireless reception in north-east Lincolnshire, complaints of which have been sent to him by the Louth Rural District Council.

Mr. Gammans

The B.B.C. tells me that reception of the Light and Third Programmes in the Louth area should be quite good, but the Home Service suffers after dark from some fading and more particularly from interference caused by a station in the Soviet Zone of Germany. Representations through the Foreign Office about this interference have recently been renewed.
