§ 45. Mr. J. Hyndasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether his attention has been called to the destruction of large quantities of wardrobes, chairs and other furniture at Padgate, Royal Air Force Station; and whether he will arrange for this to be stopped and for all suitable pieces of furniture to be offered of sale to the public.
Mr. WardI have had a full report, and I am satisfied that only furniture which is past repair and which it is not worth putting up for sale to the public is being destroyed.
