§ Mr. J. StuartOne thousand one hundred and thirty-four people in Scotland died as a result of accidents in their homes in 1953, of whom 20.5 per cent. were children under fifteen years of age. One thousand one hundred and six died in 1954, of whom 19.5 per cent. were children. No figures of the number of injuries are available.
