asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food to introduce the necessary legislation to initiate a scheme of welfare food supplies to all old-age pensioners to enable them to purchase at October, 1951, cost price a predetermined basic supply of eggs, butter, milk, cheese, margarine, tea, bacon, meat and bread.
