§ 62. Mr. Doddsasked the Minister of Education how many private schools have not yet supplied, as requested, details of teaching staff; what action has been taken in view of the length of time that has elapsed since the first request was made; and the number of children concerned.
§ Mr. VosperAll but four of the unrecognised independent schools which failed to supply the return last year have already replied to my recent request for a second return. My right hon. Friend is taking steps which he hopes will shortly reduce this number still further. The exact number of children involved is not known, but all the four schools are small.
