§ 44. Mr. Edelmanasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs to what extent information on the genetic effects of nuclear explosions will be included in the proposed exchange of data on atomic matters between Britain and the United States of America.
§ Mr. H. MacmillanAs the House has been informed in reply to earlier Questions, there has for some time been close collaboration between British and American research workers and constant exchange of information in this field. I think, therefore, that the position is already satisfactory in this respect and that there is no need to wait for the conclusion of a formal agreement in order to secure co-operation on this part of the problem.
