Toucheasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what reply he has given to the request from the chairman of the Surrey County Council that the conflicting views expressed by experts regarding the meteorological conditions at Gatwick Airport be submitted to an independent meteorological assessor appointed by the Royal Meteorological Society; and whether he will make a statement on this subject.
