§ Lieut.-Colonel Bromley-Davenportasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will provide a list of the organisations which have been granted exemption from payment of Entertainments Duty by the Customs and Excise authorities under those Sections of the Finance Acts which lay down that where the entertainment is not conducted for profit and is provided by an organisation whose aims are partly educational, no tax shall be charged.

§ Wing Commander Bullusasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer to what extent the recent strike of newspaper operatives, which prevented the publication of entertainment advertisements in the London daily Press on 11th October, affected the normal daily revenue received by his Department from Entertainment Duty.
