§ Mr. GammansNo. Section 3 of the Television Act, 1954, fully safeguards the accuracy and impartiality of news reports and programmes dealing with controversial matters, and prohibits the broadcasting by the Authority of its own views, or those of any of its contractors, on any political or industrial issue.
