Hyndasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the growing importance of duties being performed by British delegates to the Council of Europe and particularly their new responsibilities in connection with the Council of Western European Union, he will arrange for them to report at least annually to this House.
§ Lord John HopeIn recent years opportunity has been afforded in debates on European affairs to discuss the Council of Europe. Every effort will be made to afford similar opportunities in future.
