§ Mr. Viantasked the Prime Minister whether he will see to it that the rights of our Forces to object to vaccination and inoculation will be observed in all countries where such persons may be posted, including Japan
§ Mr. H. MacmillanI have been asked to reply.
I have no reason to believe that the rights to which the hon. Member refers are not observed.
§ Mr. Viantasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the fact that in regard to Japan no vaccination certificates are 85W required, except that arrivals from local areas infected with cholera and smallpox may be required to produce the appropriate certificate, he will take steps to inform British Forces of these facts.
§ Mr. H. MacmillanI have been asked to reply.
The right of Service men to refuse vaccination and inoculation is clearly established in Service Regulations.
