§ Sir D. Maxwell FyfeAs I stated in reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Harrow, East (Mr. Ian Harvey) on 9th March, it has been decided that members of the Auxiliary Fire Service who suffer loss of earnings as a result of injury on duty should receive sick pay based on that of a part-time fireman for a period not exceeding 26 weeks. Regulations giving effect to these arrangements will be laid before Parliament as soon as I have received the views of the local30W authorities whom I have consulted on the details of the scheme.
