§ Mr. Osborneasked the President of the Board of Trade why certain goods may be exported to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics but not to China, in view of the fact that they may be sent from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics to China.
§ Mr. P. ThorneycroftExport controls on trade with China have been more stringent than those affecting the Soviet bloc because China has been engaged in active hostilities with the forces of the United Nations. I have no evidence that the goods in question are being re-exported from the Soviet bloc to China.
