asked the Minister of Education the number of boys and girls, respectively, in secondary grammar schools in the West Riding of Yorkshire who succeeded in obtaining the General Certificate of Education, ordinary level, during the school year 1952–53; and what percentage of this number remained on at school to study for the General Certificate of Education, higher level.
