Newman, Royal Army Medical Corps, who was killed in Hong Kong in April, 1952, by an Army ambulance while attending a civilian in the roadway, his Department have denied liability on the ground that the case falls within Section 10 of the Crown Proceedings Act, 1947; and whether he will reconsider his decision.
