§ Mr. HopkinsonLotteries run by Colonial Governments for Government revenue purposes exist in Malta and Gibraltar and will shortly be started in St. Lucia. In the Federation of Malaya there is a Social and Welfare Services Lotteries Board established by ordinance and appointed by the High Commissioner in Council, which is authorised to promote public lotteries for social and welfare purposes. If my hon. Friend will tell me what further particulars he desires I will endeavour to supply him with them.
