§ 107. Mr. de Freitasasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what applications have been made to him within the last 2½ years by the city of Lincoln, British Railways or any other body in connection with reducing the inconvenience caused by the level crossings in Lincoln.
§ Mr. MolsonThe city of Lincoln applied for a grant towards the cost of erecting traffic control signals at the northern level crossing in High Street. This was issued in December, 1953. They have also sought approval, which has now been given, to the appointment of consulting engineers and architect for the design of a bridge to eliminate the level crossing in Pelham Street. Representations have also been made by Messrs. Ruston Hornsby Ltd, and the National Farmers' Union.
