§ Major Lloyd GeorgeI am sending the hon. Member publications and orders relating to commodities which were controlled in price in November, 1951. As he will recognise when he has studied these lists, it would be impracticable to compile comparable lists now that there is a much wider and different variety of grades, brands and types in the shops. The only satisfactory measure of changing food prices is that provided by the interim index.
