§ Mr. Lewisasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury the total number of Members of Parliament who have not drawn their Parliamentary salaries in each of the years from 1945 until the latest date; how many have not drawn the additional amount of £400 per annum since the date when the present salary was increased to £1,000 per annum in 1946; and what has been the gross and nett saving to the Treasury in each of these years, taking into account the normal Income Tax payments that would have been paid on these salaries had the Members concerned, in fact, drawn their full entitlement.
