Friend has in mind the possibility referred to in the recent White Paper on Decontrol and Marketing that a producers' marketing board could be set up to undertake on a voluntary basis the slaughter of fatstock and the sale of meat by grade and dead weight. It would be for such a board when set up to determine the extent of any cold storage facilities required and to provide them or secure their use.
