§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterPool betting duty does not apply to betting on horse racecourse totalisators. Receipts in Scotland from football pools were £344,104 in 1951 and £209,301 in 1952, and from greyhound racing totalisators £400,369 in 1951 and £382,726 in 1952.
