§ Sir E. BoyleThe local education authority maintain three nursery schools in Shropshire, one of them in the Wrekin division. I cannot at present authorise any expansion of nursery education, save in those cases where an authority can satisfy me that the establishment of a new nursery class in existing buildings will enable a number of qualified married women to return to teaching in maintained schools.
