Robinsonasked the Minister of Health if his attention has been drawn to paragraph 143 of the Report of the Central Health Services Council's Committee on the Internal Administration of Hospitals; if he is aware that the medical superintendent of a mental hospital receives no additional remuneration in respect of the responsibilities imposed on him by Statute; and what steps he will take to ensure that the best qualified and most experienced psychiatric consultants are encouraged to apply for these positions.
