§ 46. Mrs. Mannasked the Prime Minister why the dates when the Minister of Food replies to hon. Members' Questions have been altered; and, in view of the urgency of this subject, if he will take steps to restore the second appearance of the Minister each week.
§ The Prime MinisterThe number of Questions to the Minister of Food has declined and there no longer appears to be justification for two occasions each week for them to be answered. Accordingly, the reduction was made when other adjustments were made at the time of the Summer Recess. Consultation took place in the customary way through the usual channels and with the Authorities of the House.
