HC Deb 21 December 1954 vol 535 c274W
Mr. Teeling

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, when he goes to Paris for international discussions, the local Press attaché or the head of the Press Department at the Foreign Office or some other official make the arrangements for Press hand-outs and for looking after British and foreign Press correspondents at our Embassy and elsewhere.

Mr. Turton

When my right hon. Friend attends international discussions in Paris the United Kingdom delegation usually includes the head or a senior member of the Foreign Office News Department. It is his duty, in conjunction with the Press and information staff of the Embassy in Paris, to make the arrangements referred to.
