HC Deb 14 December 1954 vol 535 c113W
Mr. Skeffington

asked the Minister of Labour how many people, being persons to whom the Dock Regulations of 1934 apply, have been drowned in docks in the United Kingdom for each of the years 1924 to 1954, inclusive.

Mr. Watkinson

I regret that the information is not available. The total number of fatal accidents of all kinds to employed persons subject to the Factories Acts at docks, wharves, quays and ships, is published each year in the Annual Report of Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Factories and monthly in the Ministry of Labour Gazette.
