§ Mr. Malcolm MacPhersonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer to detail the arrangements which now exist, wholly or partly dependent on public funds, by which post-graduate students from this country may study in the United States of America, distinguishing separately those for administrative or management studies, scientific and technological studies, and other studies, respectively.
§ Mr. MaudlingI understand that some Government Departments and certain other agencies make awards for study abroad, but tenure is not usually limited to a particular country. Details are given in the U.N.E.S.C.O. publication "Study Abroad: International Handbook of Fellowships, Scholarships and Educational Exchange."
