Mr. Warbey

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what Press representatives were invited to attend the official reception held on 14th October in honour of members of the Assembly of the People's Representatives of Thailand visiting this country.

Mr. Nutting

Four journalists known to be especially interested in South-East Asia were invited to the reception given for these visitors on 14th October.

Mr. Warbey

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what arrangements have been made, or are contemplated, to enable members of the Assembly of the People's Representatives of Thailand now visiting this country, to meet representatives of organisations and journals which are primarily interested in Far Eastern affairs.

Mr. Nutting

A party of 37 members of the Legislative Commission of the Assembly of the People's Representatives of Thailand visited the United Kingdom between 10th and 15th October. Among other official arrangements made for them, the party were entertained at a reception to which Members of Parliament, officials, businessmen, journalists and other persons known to be interested in Thailand were invited.
