Yes, and emergency measures to remedy the damage have been344W carried out. The Narbeth Rural District Council, who are the responsible coast protection authority under the Coast Protection Act, 1949, have in hand a scheme of permanent works, estimated to cost £49,000, to protect the western end of Amroth.
