§ 21. Mr. Snowasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has considered the resolution of the Economic and Social Council of United Nations Organisation of 5th August inviting Governments to ensure financial support of the Expanded Programme of Technical Assistance for a period longer than a year in order to promote more orderly development of programmes; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. NuttingHer Majesty's Government have studied this proposal with much sympathy. But they do not feel that it would be right for them to commit Parliament to continuing contributions over a period of years.
