Mr. Watkins

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department the number of registered clubs for each of the Welsh counties; and the number of new registrations that have been allowed since the lapsing of Defence Regulation 55c.

The number of registered clubs on 30th June, 1953, which is the latest date for which figures are available, is shown in c. 1 of the following table. The number of new registrations since Defence Regulation 55c was revoked is not known: c. 2 shows the number of registrations during the period 1st July, 1952 to 30th June 1953.
