asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance the number of deaths amongst limbless war pensioners during each of the past five years; and the number of war widows pensions awarded in respect of those deaths.

Brigadier Smyth

During the five years ended 31st March, 1953, the deaths numbered 674, 717, 758, 769 and 874 respectively. As regards the second part of the Question, I rgret that the information is not available.
