HC Deb 11 November 1953 vol 520 c43W
64. Mr. Callaghan

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what progress has been made in reviewing the arrangements for searching for and assisting vessels in distress around the British Isles.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

I would refer to the answer which I gave to a Question by the hon. Member on 27th July. I can say nothing more at present than that the arrangements are being considered by my Department with the other Departments concerned. As the hon. Member knows, the question is a complex one.
