asked the President of the Board of Trade if he has considered inviting the Soviet trade Minister, M. Mikoyan, to this country to talk over matters of common interest.

Board of Trade officials are in close touch with the Soviet Trade Delegation in London, and my right hon. Friend sees no sufficient reason at this stage to approach the Soviet Trade Minister in the sense suggested by the right hon. Member.
