§ Mr. J. Morrisonasked the Minister of Agriculture if he is in a position to give any information in regard to the progress of research into the cattle disease known as hypomagnesaemia.
§ Sir T. DugdaleResearch into the causes of hypomagnesaemia (lactation tetany) is being carried out at the Moredun and Hannah Research Institutes, the National Institute for Research in Dairying and the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, and at the Ministry's Veterinary Laboratory at Weybridge. No very conclusive results have been obtained so far, and research into the disease is continuing.
