§ Mr. Viant
asked the Minister of Health whether, in connection with the recent cases of smallpox in Lancashire and Yorkshire, he has considered the views of the late Dr. Ricketts and more recent pronouncements of doctors with experience of smallpox, that vaccination during the last part of the incubation period of smallpox only adds to the patient's troubles; and if he is now prepared to advise a cessation of vaccination at this late stage.
§ Miss Hornsby-Smith
My right hon. Friend's medical advisers are well aware of these views, but do not consider that they justify any alteration in present practice.
