§ Mr. J. StuartThe direct expenditure which will be incurred by my Departments in connection with the Coronation is not likely to exceed £600. Grants to local authorities will be slightly increased as a result of local Coronation expenditure, but it is impossible to give a precise estimate at present of the increases involved.
