§ Mr. Bakerasked the Minister of Agriculture if the Government will consider, in consultation with the National Farmers' Union, legislation for the establishment of a national farmers' and land bank, in order to develop to the full our agricultural resources and assist in the development of marginal land.
§ Sir T. DugdaleI am, of course, ready to consider suggestions of this nature from responsible sources, but as at present advised I see no need for the creation of new institutions for the provision of credit for the fanning industry.
