HC Deb 26 March 1953 vol 513 c109W
95. Mr. Awbery

asked the Minister of Health how many foreign-trained doctors and dentists, now domiciled in this country, have applied for posts under the National Health Service, and for technical reasons have been prevented from following the occupation for which they were trained; and what action he is taking to utilise their skill and services.

Miss Hornsby-Smith

No figures are available. I would refer the hon. Member to the answers given to a Question by him on 17th July, and to a Question on the Dentists Bill by the hon. Member for Stoke-on-Trent, Central (Dr. Stross) on 12th March.
