No. Her Majesty's Government do not consider that such barter deals are the way to solve the problems of Anglo-Brazilian trade. I would add that the new Brazilian Free Exchange Law, as I understand it, forbids the Bank of Brazil to issue import or export licences in connection with such barter deals.
