§ Mr. Malcolm MacPhersonasked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware of the difficulty now being experienced 26W by women and girls in the Falkirk area in obtaining employment; and what steps he is taking to overcome this difficulty.

I realise that additional employment opportunities for women and girls are needed in this area and my Department will continue to co-operate with the Board of Trade in encouraging industrialists who might be interested in introducing into Falkirk more industry requiring female labour.
